Agribusiness – From Garden to Income
As your group of course participants gain confidence in growing their own food, the next step is exploring how these skills can be turned into income-generating opportunities. The Agribusiness unit introduces the basics of agribusiness, including the difference between subsistence and commercial farming, agro-processing, budgeting, market engagement, and simple business planning. As a trainer, your role is to help your course participants connect agroecology practices to real-world livelihood opportunities, draft a simple SWOT analysis, and understand how a garden can become the foundation of a sustainable business.
